In this documentary Wetzel captures the months that Ferran Adrià and his team spent in his Barcelona-based cooking laboratory to create their menu for his three-Michelin starred restaurant El Bulli, now closed for good. Adrià is acknowledged as probably the most ingenious and creative avant-garde chef and Wetzel offers us a privileged insight into the physical, chemical and creative processes and the industriousness of Adrià and his wonderful team of chefs working towards the conception of an innovative menu that includes such surprises as ice vinaigrette with tangerine and green olives.
