Spain NOW! was founded in 2008 as an annual showcase showcase of the latest creative talent coming out of Spain. It takes place all around London and strives to break traditional geographical barriers in as much as cultural consumption in the capital is concerned.
With an all-inclusive ethos, Spain NOW! looks at the whole gamut of artistic disciplines and, through a rigorous selection process, presents to London audiences a comprehensive number of exhibitions and events and performances reflecting the artistic output of the Spanish art scene/world of that year.
Spain NOW! is supported by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, the Spanish Tourist Office and the Spanish Embassy in London as well as wide range of corporate and private supporters.
The first annual showcase took place place in London between 25th September- 17th November 2009. In 2012 Spain NOW! will take place over 8 weeks from October 4 and will bring to London a snapshot of the latest creative output of Spain, featuring a series of exhibitions, concerts, talks and performances across London.
