Spain NOW!, the annual season of contemporary art and culture from Spain, is pleased to present Adrián Navarro / Silvia Lerín: New Work. This exhibition offers a small taste of Navarro’s and Lerín’s extensive body of work and acknowledges the increased interest by the contemporary art world in their respective professional trajectories.

Adrián Navarro will present a selection of works from his latest series Screens and Fragments. In this new body of work the artist continues his investigation of the material and immaterial qualities of the space. His paintings quite often depict what seems to be virtual spaces, alterered realities that expand and multiply well beyond the limits of the canvas.

Silvia Lerín will also show new pieces from her on-going series Inspired By An English Garden. Building upon a rigorous abstract-geometric vocabulary, Silvia takes as a starting point the shapes and colours of the different flowers that populate traditional English gardens. This project comes as a continuation of her previous line of work characterised by a thorough investigation of the formal qualities of painting.
